Ronald van ‘t Klooster joined Quantib, a scale-up company developing medical image analysis software, in 2014 after finishing his studies at Delft University of Technology and completing a PhD in medical image segmentation and registration at Leiden University Medical Center, Leiden.
As a senior R&D engineer, Ronald's expertise covers the whole chain of product development, from prototyping, algorithm development to designing software for the end user and obtaining regulatory approval, as well as bringing the final software product to market. Additionally, he is involved as project leader in European subsidy projects, such as the ITEA3 project IMPACT.
One of Ronald's current focus points is AI and getting these technologies into society both from a user and regulatory point of view.
