Dr. Iarla Kilbane-Dawe is the Deputy Head of the UK Government Office for AI, with responsibility for International AI Policy, the AI Council and Engagement.
Previously in the private sector, UK civil service and head of the European Space Agency's AI lab in Frascati, his goal is to accelerate development of the UK's AI research and industry ecosystem to ensure UK collaboration and leadership in AI, with a focus on responsible AI and its application to major societal and industrial challenges.
