Mafalda Jotta Garcia received her M.Sc. degree in physics engineering from the University of Lisbon-Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon, Portugal, in 2019, and her Ph.D. degree from Paris-Saclay University, Saclay, France, in 2022.
During her doctoral studies, her research focused on using spintronic radio frequency devices for sensing and energy harvesting applications.
In 2022, she joined Qblox, Delft, The Netherlands, as a Quantum Application Engineer, focusing on control systems for the quantum internet, namely within the QIA consortium.
