Research field and area: Biotechnical sciences: breeding, selection and reproduction of pigs; animal genetic resources; carcass and meat quality of pigs.

  • COST project CA22112 MC and Participant at the - European Network on Livestock Phenomics (2023-2027).

Publications:

The speaker has authored and co-authored a total of 216 references to date. He has published 30 papers in international journals indexed in the SCI (Science Citation Index), including 9 in top-tier international journals, 7 in high-quality international journals, 6 in international journals and 8 in international journals with lover IF. The candidate has also contributed to three chapters in international monographs of category M14.

Appointed the second mentor of the doctoral thesis titled ”Growth traits and development of gonads in male (non-castrated and immunocastrated) autochthonous pig breeds“ defended by a candidate Marija Gogic, agricultural engineer.  The Decision of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Belgrade no. 461/9-4.1. as of 28.06.2017.
