Closing remarks: Maria da Graça Carvalho
That’s the atmosphere that Knowledge4Innovation Forum is always creating, it’s really to feel like we are a family. During the past one and a half years, you accompanied me, you inspired us to make decisions. And finally, we have the new European Innovation Agenda and you were in the driving seat from the very beginning of this journey. Thank you very much, we count on you to continue with us.
A great contribution to the new European Innovation Agenda, I am proud to say, comes from the European Innovation Area (EIA) Manifesto, which I had the pleasure of helping develop with other K4I Forum political members, EIT KICs, European Partnerships, universities, and innovation support organisations.
We thank all signatories of the EIA Manifesto and hope that the actions and ideas compiled in this special Innovators Magazine will inspire others to join us in our mission to create a more inclusive, sustainable, and collaborative innovation ecosystem. Together, we can create a future that is better for all.
It goes without saying that the European Green Deal has put tremendous spotlight and pressure on the raw material sector. Raw and advanced materials are the nucleus for European industrial ecosystems, and also for a successful green transition.
